Facts
• Cayden’s favourite movies of all time are “A Few Good Men” “The Incredibles” and “Top Gun.”
• For his 11th birthday Cayden went paint balling at Field of Fire in Valencia. Though his sister Jenna said she wouldn’t be participating for fear of all the boys ganging up on her, he brought about seven people, including his best friend who coincidently was the stunt double for his character in “Shark Boy and Lava Girl”.
• Both of the roles of Micheal Boyle in “Mystic River” and Timmy in “Dodgeball: Inspired by a true story” took approximately a week to film.
• The film “Shark Boy and Lava Girl in 3D” took three months to film. For the film “Shark Boy and Lava Girl in 3D” Cayden filmed a lot against green screen. Therefore to get an idea of how to react whilst filming, director Robert Rodriguez would show him a basic idea or a computer image of what would finally appear on screen.
• Cayden describes his favourite experience of working on the set of “Shark Boy and Lava Girl in 3D” as training for all the stunts in the film with stunt co-ordinator Jeffrey J. Dashnaw. According to Cayden, “He worked really close with us just to make the stunt work just a bit better”. Therefore, acrobatic stunts such as backflips were no trouble for Cayden in “Shark Boy and Lavagirl in 3D”. He loves stunts!
• For future roles, Cayden would like to work with either Tom Cruise, Morgan Freeman or Jack Nicholson. Though says his role model is Clint Eastwood.
• Cayden enthuses that the biggest benefit of acting is that he is able to travel to a large number of places. “You could be making a movie in the middle of the jungle in Africa or you could be in the middle of a huge city, and it’s just so cool going to all different places.”
• Moved to California in 1991, with his sister Jenna and mother and father Debbie and Mike.
• For future prospects, Cayden would like to go to college at Texas A&M University. However, he has many ideas of what he would like to do when he is older. Being a marine, flying F-18s and working with animals are on the cards.
• Cayden plays on a tackle football team. He plays tight end on offense, and was the third string quarterback. And on defense he plays defensive back, and according to Cayden he is “never off the field”. He is also the kicker, and on the receiving team. Though making movies comes with sacrifices. Cayden missed half the football season when he booked the movie “Shark Boy and Lava Girl in 3D.”

• An on-set tutor helps Jenna and Cayden complete their required three hours of schoolwork a day.
• He misses living in Texas, because it is a much friendlier place than California and he would get to see his family more if he lived in Texas.
• When Cayden and Jenna were younger, they would make up characters and play around.
• So far, Max in “Shark Boy and Lava Girl in 3D” has been Caydens favourite role.

• He had sleepovers with his “Shark Boy and Lava Girl in 3D” co-stars Taylor Dooley and Taylor Lautener.
• First started doing modelling for J.C. Penny Catalogues and Target posters.
• He goes to a Christian school and is very proud of the fact that he is a Christian.
